A Good Day

Yesterday the three of us went over to Degen and Ann's house. Lauren was able to play outside with her cousins, Mira and Martin. We actually have a lot of family up in this area. Jason's brother, Degen, and sister, Joleen, live here in Pasco. It has been great spending time with them and getting to know them and their families even more. It was such a nice day that Jason and I took Lauren to the park to swing as well. She liked it, but was afraid to go too high. We saw all kinds of interesting things there. Well, I guess I should say that, Lauren saw all kinds of interesting things. She saw a cat, a ferret, dogs, goats, ducks, and seagulls--which is actually quite an unusual combination of animals to see now that I think about it. It was very entertaining for her I'm sure. We had a good day.

Trip to Walla Walla

Today Lauren and I took a drive over to Walla Walla to meet up with Jason for lunch. It's about a 45 minute drive. I think Lauren's favorite part of the whole trip was her dum dum sucker, as shown in this picture.

And mine was the drive home...

Happy Birthday

We're wishing you a happy birthday Mom! Included in my post are pictures that were taken when my mother was a little girl. They are my favorites, particularly the one of her in the back of the truck with the telephone pole in the window. These pictures were most likely taken by her father, Clarence Zurcher, many many many years ago. Just kidding Mom! The more recent pictures were taken last year when Jason, Lauren, and I went to Oakley for spring break. We always have great and fun times with my mom and dad. So, Mom, we just wanted to let you know that we wish we could be there with you. We love you and hope that you have a great birthday!

A Walk

Yesterday the three of us went on a short walk through a park near the Columbia River. It was raining a little, so we kept it short. That didn't make Lauren happy. She would have stayed out there all day.

Out of the Blue

These three pictures are kind of out of the blue, but they are worthy of making my blog. Plus, I want to include our families as much as possible.
These pictures were sent to us from my brother Todd. Ever since he started flying, I get excited about seeing an F-16. When I see a picture of an F-16 with Todd in it, that's another story. In these photos Todd is flying the black, gray, and white F-16 from Korea to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he and his family are stationed.

In this picture Todd is flying the jet on the left.

This picture is of Todd outside the F-16.
