Our Yard

No, this picture isn't from our yard, unfortunately. I got this picture off Wikipedia. I have a great passion for yard work. This is what I am looking forward to more than anything--flowers. I have been talking about Spring a lot lately. You'll either hear about Lauren or Spring. My blog is so boring! Well, it isn't to me because it is about things I absolutely love, but probably for those of you reading it.

I thought I'd finally post a few pictures of the improvements we made on our yard last year. It has been so much fun working out there. I'm excited to continue doing more this year. I only have a couple of pictures for now.

The first picture is part of our backyard.

Riding Around

We haven't been up to much lately. We're just spending time outside as much as possible. Spring is coming...

Expressions of a 3 Year Old

First off, today is a day that my daughter is actually dressed...no yellow shorts and non-matching shirt. Who knows how long this will last...actually I do, but I'll enjoy the 5 seconds anyway.

Second of all, Lauren has to be one of the most dramatic and full of expression kind of girls! I happened to have the camera to take her picture because she was dressed up for the day, and caught some of her face expressions as she was watching one of her favorite cartoons,
Maggie and Ferocious Beast.

I often wonder where I'd be without this little girl. She is a teaser and loves pushing our buttons. When we go to sit down, she'll hurry up and beat us to our spots. When she knows we are going to go get something in the other room, she'll run in front of us to get it first.
A few Sundays ago, we were both walking up to the church when she told me she loved me, then she quickly added, "Just teasing."
Life can't get any better than living with a drama queen/teaser/3 year old!

Month of January

Is it possible that Spring will be here in a month and a half? From the first day it turned cold last Fall, I have been anxious for Springtime to come around. Now that it is somewhat insight I am overly impatient! I am so ready to play outside, to work in the yard, to plant a garden, to bask in the sun, etc., etc., etc. There is only so much I can handle of indoor things; although, they can be fun...but, bring on the warm weather!

A New Year

I love when a new year begins. It is always a time that I can contemplate about my life and how I can become better. 2009 was a wonderful year and I wouldn't change anything about it. I love life! I am so blessed and thankful.
